brother Goerge on leave
from France. He wanted
to know if I could
get up to London.
I had just finished
cooking for our signal
section of 40 men for
5 days for which I
was promised five
days pass. (Our cook
was away on leave
during this time)
I used this pass
to pay a visit to London
and certainly enjoyed
myself. Archie and
I wasted no time. Saw
the Tower of London, Art
Academy, Bank of England,
Zoo, Buckingham Palace
and a number of
other interesting sights.
