crowed at most un-
reasonable hours, was
roundly cursed by all.
We had straw to sleep
on and when once in
bed were very comfortable.
Some of the boys got
vermine after sleepng
in the barn a few
nights but I escaped
until a few days ago.
There are divisional
baths where you get
a good bath and change
of underwear so a fellow
can get rid of them
for a time.
