Nothing definite could be done with the res. until
further information was received re the character
of work done in the Indian School and the results
of training given in the Institution, so it was
moved by Mrs. Wood, sec. by Mrs. Tooth that Mrs. Bell
and Mrs. F. Staples be a Com. [Committee] to look into the matter
and report at next meeting. Carried.
It was unanimously decided at this meeting
to pack boxes (Thanksgiving) for overseas. Mrs.
Ackney was to remain convener of the Box Com. [Committee] while
Miss Christie and Miss Morrow were appointed to
secure and write out the addresses of the boys at the front
to whom boxes were to be sent. (A notice of this to
be sent to the paper) Mrs. Wood - Mrs. Alexander, that Mrs. Blight order
12 lbs. yarm for socks and place the order with Mr.
Rattan for knitting same.
