Oct. [October] 6. Sat [Saturday] – Busy morn. Washed up some
spare room things & towels, etc., scrubbed
kitchen floor & baked biscuits. Girls baked
cake, etc. Got up very windy but I got
ready & went to I. O. D. E. [Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire] meeting with Mrs. Morrison in car. Good meeting; went around to few stores & up to Coulters. Uncle Dave & Aunt Alice, Wilt & Mildred there & Mrs. McLeod. Came home with us. Papa & Artie across River & to sale after.
