for ourselves that we never had to
do at home.
I wonder what you are all doing
today just at this time, I was pict-
uring to myself this morning how
you would all look around the break-
fast table and I'd have given a whole
lot to have been there and shared it
with you. Wouldn't it be nice if we
could get home for weekends and
forget the war for a day each week.
Has conscription come into force
over there yet? When it does it ought
to collect a few members of the com-
munity that could be easily spared.
For myself though I'd like to see the
war end before any more of the
boys get mixed up in it as it is
not a pleasnat thing to be mixed
up in.
I haven't seen Don for a long
time now. He is quite well and
