Dear Father:-
Well I must celebr-
ate my last night in the clink
by writing a few lines home.
I got seven days F. P. no, two
last Friday morning for over-
staying leave.
F. P. no. two is in clink with
and doing all drills and parades.
But here we do fatigues etc.
huts, wahsing dishes
I had a reveille to midnight
pass to Sendon but went to
Oxford for a couple of days
I did know the two girls
Ruth and I forgot the name
of the other one they had grown
about six inches more or less.
I expect I will find it the
same when I get home when
ever that maybe.
A man doesn't grow much
on this job although I have
filled out a bit and hardened
up a bit.
I sure lool as though we
were winning the war
