more detail of things
over here but censor
does not permit.
Our passage across
Channel was without
mishap. As our boat
was packed with
men horses and equipment
and as the horses
tramping on deck over
our heads made quick
a racket could not
manage to get any
sleep. After landing went
to a rest camp returning
from there same day
and taking train. Monty
and I slept on a flat car
under our transport
waggon as forty men
seemed much too
sociable a gathering
