On Sunday Archie, Agnes
George and I went to
service in St Margarets
Chapel next to Westminster
Abbey. It is very ancient
and most interesting
old place. So much for London.
Archie decided his
proper place was on
this side of the water
so secured a commission
and in a short time
became attached to
7th Can Field Arty Bde as
M. O. He came to France
a couple of days after
our bunch arrived.
Pretty quick work!
At Shorncliff we
had a lot of riding
but of course CMR are
now Infantry. Would
like to give you
