not understand his
not acknowledging
receipt of same as he is
generally quite particular
in that way. My trunk
reached St. Thomas safely
being sent by Mr. Gillespie
so I have nothing to
bother me in that
way. In regard to
the little rifle, you're
quite welcome to it as
I told you before.
Well Charlie here I
am lying in a bunk
writing by candle light.
and a comfortable as I
have been since arriv-
ing in France about
two months ago.
