went up. I felt about a mile
high, but I saw the Boshe
before the light died down-
across fifteen yards of tangle.
Snipers are pretty active too
this morning. We foolishly
stood up to have breakfast
and got a regular fuselade.
They're bursting shrapnel
over the right end of the wood
now. There is absolutely no
protection from it here.

We've been strafed with
5 gs for an hour now, landing
about 50 yards from the
edge of the woods where I'm
lying. I've slept ever since
