but I am quite sure that under the present
conditions they aren't worth powder to blow the
whole crowd to Hell. If I don't see France,
it will be a disappointment; but I can come
back with the knowledge that there was no
petticoat derision to drive me into the
Army. I'm sore clear through at these
slackers and pink tea artists. Thank
Heavens we don't think of them, in an
action. Its only women and the little
kiddies and those who can't protect
themselves. If I had my way there would
be a "Slackers Roll" beside the Honor List
in the churches, but God help the man.

know about it.
